Old-school French-Dutch milliner (aka the Lola of Lola Hats) has a workshop in Brooklyn where she and her team make hats that are a little retro, a little playful, and beautifully handcrafted. The Commando is a soft, medium-brimmed, raffia fedora with a leather tab at the back to adjust the size. It stays on the head really nicely, so Lola recommends it for biking and trips to the beach.

This classic fedora in crochet raffia is lightweight and pliable. A washed grosgrain ribbon is casually draped around the crown and secured with free-form stitching in a contrasting color through the middle. The brim is edged with a similar stitching.
