The hollow head also makes this fly less wind resistant than solid foam poppers, while a flexible, durable coating protects the foam from fish's teeth.

Rio's Tapered Tarpon Leader has been designed for the ultimate in performance when tarpon fishing. Most tarpon leaders are level with a shock tippet on the front end. RIO’s Tapered Tarpon Leader has a fully tapered leader running down to the shock tippet, which gives far better turnover and presentation than level ones. The leaders ends with a 2ft length of shock tippet for protection.
